Making trouble? A "landfrontation".
1 Thess. 5:17 " Unceasingly pray"
1 Kings 5:17-18 "And it came to pass when Ahab saw Elijah that Ahab said unto him, Are you he that is troubling Israel? And Elijah said, I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father (have troubled it), in that you have forsaken the commandments of Yahweh and followed Baal"
Pro 2:21-22 "For the upright shall abide on the land and the blameless shall remain therein; but the lawless out of the land shall be cut off, and traitors shall be torn away therefrom".
Praying without ceasing is a matter of character. It has nothing to do with voicing words of supplication and entreaty continuously. It is who one IS, not what one does. This is the truth of christianity- BEING, not doing. One's life is prayer.
As a person of character is of the Spirit, his influence on others is greater- more wide spread over an earthly area- then would be by normal human contact and/or with his words.
He whose life is prayer and is of Spirit, is an earthly "troublemaker". His "troublemaking" is not his fault, but the fault of those whose lives do not "line up" with the Spirit by whom he lives. It is they who experience a "troubling disturbance" in their own lives, not him.
They are "Ahabs" who are married to "trouser wearing Jezebels" that must be corrected, for they are not children of the true God, but are "children of a lesser god", represented by "Baal" in the above passage.
The "Ahab/Jezebel combo"is representative of what is occurring in this age in present day professing "christianity", which of course has nothing to do with True Christianity. These are they "who say they are Jews and are not" described in Rev.2:9, 3:9;the Jezebel/Baalim ones of Rev.2:14,20-23 and they who "have a name that they are alive, but are dead",of Rev. 3:1.
These are the lawless ones and traitors who "claim to live on the land", who, if they don't repent will be cut off and torn away from even what they claim to have, notwithstanding the fact that their claims are bogus in the first place. The "land" referred to is God's Kingdom. Only the blameless dwell in the "land" of the Kingdom.
Math.13:12 "For whosoever has, it shall be given to him and he shall be made to abound, but whosoever has not, even what he (thinks) he has shall be taken from him."
