DOUBLE VISION

Job 2:10 "And Job said unto his wife, shall we receive good at the hand of God and not also evil?"
Math. 5:39a "But I tell you not to resist evil"
Math. 6:22-23 "The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light, but if your eye be evil, your whole body shall be in the dark; if therefore the light which is in you is darkness, how great the darkness!"

Double vision is the cause of most professing christians' "little faith". Double vision is the "evil eye" of the above passage in Math. 6. Double vision is seeing good AND evil.

The normal function of human eyes is to see as one; for the two physical eyes to focus on one thing. In the Math. 6 passage, Jesus is using a physical truth to teach a spiritual truth. He is saying, if you want to live in the peace that is the Kingdom of God, you must learn the truth of the "single eye". In the passage Jesus uses the single eye as an opposite to what He calls the "evil eye". Both are "ways of looking at things". The way one looks at things affects one's behavior and choices or decision making.

It is the will of God that His children "leave the land of double vision" where some things are good and some things are evil, and enter "the New Land" of the Kingdom of God, WHERE ALL THINGS ARE GOOD, for you are not yet His True child until you do; YOU MUST LEARN TO SEE AS HE SEES IN ORDER TO LIVE AS HE LIVES, IN THE PEACE OF HIS KINGDOM.

At present, many professing ones are living in bodies like those whose two physical eyes are each "going in two different directions", which in the natural is not normal. It is also not spiritual. Ultimately, it is living according to "flesh". It is making decisions and choices based on what one sees just like Eve in the garden, when in actuality everything is to be done by faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God, and whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Christians are not to be "moved" by the negative. They are not to make decisions in their individual lives or the lives of their families based on the "evil" they see in the world around them, BUT UPON FAITH AND OBEDIENCE TO WHAT THE LORD TELLS THEM ONLY.

For example. The problem: "The government schools are so corrupt, we have to take our children out of them and home school them". Answer: You should already have been teaching them at home based on faith and obedience to many, many scripture passages WHICH REVEAL GOD'S MIND ON THE MATTER.

The problem: "My wife and I both have to work and can't do the above because we need both incomes in order to survive in this world". Answer: Your wife should already be the "keeper at home" IN FAITH AND OBEDIENCE TO THE SCRIPTURE WHICH REVEALS GOD'S MIND ON THE MATTER. Your real problem is you believe the "evil" the world says, instead of God, and when you do that, you WILL need 2 incomes to survive, plus be able to maintain your yuppie mcmansion filled with stuff.

The problem: "Our food supply has been corrupted and chemicalized by big agribusinesses who have put the small farm out of business; our food we get in the store is processed and has unhealthy junk in it and the fruits and vegetables don't taste the way they used to, so we decided it might be best if we move to the country or rural area or small town where we can have some acreage and grow our own food and have animals for milk and meat". Answer: Faith says you can live wherever you want because IF YOU ARE THANKFUL TO THE ONE WHO SUPPLIES YOUR FOOD, EVEN IF IT'S A COCKROACH SANDWICH, HE BLESSES IT SO THAT IT NOURISHES AND IS HEALTH TO YOUR BODY. Jesus said, why are you worried about your food, water, clothing and shelter? DON'T BE MOVED BECAUSE OF WHAT THE ADVERSARY BLATHERS THROUGH THE MEDIA-you should have stopped paying attention to him and his mouthpieces a long time ago; him and his "60 minutes" and "20/20's", and all the other hoohah he puts out through his pipe organs.

The beast system of this world is designed so that the christian can overcome it. You are not going to overcome it by watching it's blind foolishness and listening to it's lying blather, GIVING IT THE ATTENTION IT CRAVES. The adversary looooooves attention, for to him it is worship.

How do you overcome? BY FAITH. Faith shuts it's ears to the fear preachers (some in pulpits), with microphones in their mouth and cameras in their faces. If you haven't cut the cable or satellite umbilical cord yet, you need to do so if you can't resist watching and hearing all the crap that comes through it. Unless you have the inner strength to watch the infinitesimal few programs that are worth watching, and them only. (Remember Jesus' admonition about cutting out the "eye that offends you"?) Even nature programs are full of doomsday crap and tree hugger propaganda. News? Forget it!

Your faith must be expanded to include everything in life. This faith expansion goes "hand in hand" with an inner change in character where double vision falls away and you see and EMBRACE EVERYTHING AS COMING FROM THE HAND OF GOD, NOT JUST "GOOD" THINGS.

When the latter occurs in your life you are seeing with the single eye and your whole being shall be full of light. Whereas before, you were schizophrenic-living in two conditions of being- now within yourself "you have made the two, one, and have broken down the middle wall of partition, the enmity" which had separated you from TRUE CONTINUOUS FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD.

When you have a divided outlook, you are living in the duality of good and evil. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he, You become what you see. You will never have close continuous fellowship with God as long as you live with the inner division.

What Jesus meant when He said, "if the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!", is, when you live in duality with the "evil eye", seeing good and evil, even the good which you see is evil, so you have double darkness; ie, great evil in you. You are allowing the evil to move you, responding to the fear it brings emotionally and it thereby affects your reason and understanding. It causes you to make choices and decisions in response to it. It "makes dark"; poisons everything it touches, by deceiving you into thinking it is faith.

When your vision is transformed corresponding with the widening of your faith to include ALL OF LIFE, then you are on the HIGH WAY. Actually, you are a HIGH WAY FORM; a NEW SPECIES OF BEING THAT NEVER EXISTED BEFORE. This is what the New Creation/New Creature means.

In this condition you have ceased making choices and family decisions based on reason/intellect effected by fear controlled emotion. You then become an individual part of the fulfillment of Rev. 7:14-17 and Rev. 18 (the whole chapter). You have ceased "buying" the Babylonish beast's "stuff": "and the merchants of the earth (purveyors of fear based merchandise) wheep and grieve over her (Babylon), BECAUSE THEIR CARGO NO ONE BUYS ANYMORE....." (Rev. 18:11)
