TWO CREEDS;TWO BELIEF SYSTEMS

Gen. 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"

I have extensively discussed the meanings of heavens and earth; what they are representative of and why "they" came to be, in previous posts. In this article I will show another representation of "heavens and earth" and how it is seen in the earth today. The title gives a broad view and the subtitle "narrows it down".

The "two creeds"/"two belief systems" represent or speak of, two groups which make up the Assembly/Body/Bride of Christ. There is a "heavens" group and an "earth" group.

First (for the purpose of this writing-not priority or precedence) is the "earth" group. These are the ones represented on earth by different names they have given themselves and which have buildings in cities, towns, and villages with those names on them throughout the earth. By having buildings which they call "houses of worship" or "churches" they, without realizing it, are identifying themselves as "earth". The building itself speaks of being tied down with earthly care. The expense and maintainance is on the backs of the people and speaks of PERMANENCE. The idea of "houses of worship" has it's foundation in antiquity from the idol temples of the pagans.

The fact that they identify themselves with a name: Presbyterian, Baptist, Assembly of God, etc., and build and congregate in separate buildings, speaks of the desire to gather together for security with like minded individuals. It's the main reason cities were built in ancient times.

They establish "creeds" in order to "keep out undesirables" and to enforce "orthodoxy"; an effort to keep out "error". There are variations of strictness depending on which name you go by. Some are more loose than others.

They don't realize it, but their whole system is based on fear. Their meetings for worship and their internal organization must be a planned routine so that nothing unexpected will happen. Any type of spontaniety is not allowed. The exception being in the more "spiritual gifts functioning Assemblies" which go under the "pentacostal/charismatic" type. However, they too to have the same type of internal organization.

They are all hierarchically organized-top down- and most of the "leaders" are "voted in democratically" with the exception of the more Romanist names where only the higher ups do the voting. When a "shepherd" departs, others are brought in to give "trial sermons" to see if their words are "in tune with the people's ears" and are voted on or politely passed over accordingly.

In this system everything must be tightly controlled from the top, but of course it's done with a 'smiley face". This also shows it's "earthness".

The "heaven" group.......doesn't belong to any group. They don't call themselves by any names nor band themselves together under an earthly banner. They are scattered throughout the earth and are known only by God. Theirs is not a visible joining, but a Spirit joining. They are heavenly minded- they dwell in heaven in their minds while living on earth in physical bodies.

While the earth dwellers must go through the great tribulations depicted in the book of Revelation; being overcome by the adversary, the mark of the beast and the number of his name; the heaven dwellers have no such experiences because of the fact of their being in heaven mentally, shows they have already died and been resurrected; the second death has no authority over them.

These have no earthly authority to answer to, for their authority is within them and they follow Him wherever He goes. He doesn't have a planned routine that He follows, therefore neither do they. they do the unexpected and spontaneous because that is how He operates. He is their only guide in their earthly sojourn. They come and go as they please and do whatever they will, because He does the coming/going/willing in them. these are truly free while the others are earth bound.

To be continued.........
